This past weekend, Media Girls On Tour took place in my hometown to wrap up our 4 city series for 2018! As this series closes out I couldn’t be anymore grateful for my partner, Jauntel Taffe who assisted and helped execute the entire tour. Though we faced many roadblocks they were only temporary! The tour kicked off in Charlotte in February, traveled to Detroit in May, Chicago in August, and wrapped in Atlanta this month.
I took my passion for event execution and merged it with my love for media to create the ultimate networking experience for the aspiring journalist or girl boss!
The Atlanta stop was hosted at “Kisswork Studios” where 75+ bloggers, influencers, journalists, and entrepreneurs connected to celebrate Atlanta’s leading ladies in media and entertainment such as Marissa Mitchell (Fox5), Neima Abdulahi (11Alive), Kierra Wagstaff (Dash Radio), Marie Denee (The Curvy Fashionista), Lori Jay (SVP Marketing at TV One Networks), Jazzy Mcbee (Streetz 94.5) and special honorees Princess Banton-Lofters (Developer of RHOA), and Quad Webb-Lunceford (Sister Circle TV Host/ Bravo TV). These ladies were transparent and open about their career journeys and experiences. So many amazing gems were dropped and a lot of laughs with Anisa Brenee as the host.
