It's truly awe-inspiring to witness the prowess of these beautiful black girls and women, competing and triumphing in male-dominated sports on a global stage. The likes of Olympian Champions Sha’Carri, Rebecca Andraide, and Simone Biles, among others, have left us in admiration with their stellar performances at this year's summer Olympics in Paris, France.
Up first, we have the amazing Sha’Carri Richardson, who unfortunately was disqualified from last year's summer games but came back this year blazing and winning Silver in the Women’s 100-meter final. Coming in First place hailing all the way from the Caribbeans Islands was none other than St. Lucia’s own Julien Alfren winning the Gold Medal. Next, we have the phenomenal trio on the floor. Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Rebecca Andraide. In a moment that will be etched in history, these three Black Women swept the Floor Exercise Challenge, marking a significant milestone in the world of sports. And our girl Simone has made history becoming the decorated gymnast in history! Truly amazing to watch this young woman become a major part of history. Let us all learn that no matter what challenges we may face along our ways, dreams really are attainable and do come true. Congratulations to all this year's winners and summer champions.
