Celebrate Cinco De Mayo Quarantine Style

So what is Cinco De Mayo? Its the Anniversary of the battle of Puebla! Cinco De Mayo commemorates the Mexican Army's victory against the french empire. For most, Cinco De Mayo is a time where we celebrate with friends and family, eat plenty of tacos, and how can we forget those top shelf margaritas.

The number 1 question is, how can we still celebrate this fun holiday quarantine style?

Here’s some fun ideas to have a quarantine safe cinco de mayo:

Host a Zoom party!

Grab Your Margaritas and a group of friends and lets zoom in on the fun.

So first things first, all you'll need is to download the Zoom App (video conference) to connect with your margarita buddies and have your live festivities.

Spice up the fun, throw in some Cinco De Mayo decorations to hype your party up and add that Mexican flare!

Taco Tuesdays at Home

  • Grab you a box of the hard shell tacos

  • Shredded Cheese

  • Chicken

  • Sour Cream

  • Salsa

  • Yummy Avocados

So lets shake it up a bit, Alcohol on the go and take out are other options.

Several states are allowing drive thru and delivery services to make this Cinco a bit more fun. Start by researching your local store who deliveries those great cocktails or social media influencer who has the scoop on where to grab some great margaritas to go.

Take out

So many places are still doing to go orders or curb-side if your just not in the mood to cook . Let’s try out some of the best Mexican Restaurants in your area. A few of my favorites are, “Frontera Mex-Mex Grill”,

try the steak and chicken tacos topped with their famous Queso it's to die for!

On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Let's add nachos to the menu...try the chicken nachos at "On The Border", take a risk and add sour cream to your dish.

How can we forget good ole' Moes (southwest Grill)

Burritos are Moes fan favorites ... Some many to choose from not to expensive Quick and easy (doordash or uber eats) and Wah Lah!
